Nice lil' game! Cool parallax both horizontally and vertically!
It took me a bit to figure out the teleport button thing mechanic, but I could definitely see the idea being explored more.
For the platforming, it felt pretty good. There's was lots of weight to it compared to the character design. If the characters had like springy legs it could help it make more sense. Also starting a jump seemed to be based on when the jump button is held rather than the first frame the button is pressed, leading to some extra bounces at the end of the jumps.
The game text was nice. I liked the content it provided. It was tough having it cover a large portion of the screen for each level. Having it be more contextual and show up for a little bit, or a box to continue it would go a long way.
All in all, great work!

Thanks for the dedicated analysis. I will consider it for the next iteration.
