I really enjoyed the music in this game and felt that it fit the atmosphere. The gameplay was fun however the lack of an ending left me confused. It is a well polished game so far however!

Fun little game. I really enjoyed the scary and unexplained atmosphere. Really the only thing lacking was some better player feedback, as knowing which tiles should be avoided etc was mostly a matter of memorization for me. Still quite a nice game and I think with quite an unique gameplay idea.

Hello! Despite not quite being finished, I appreciate your submission. The game's music fits the haunting theme, and the visuals are not bad at all. I end up double tapping and killing my doppelganger twice in a row, oops. The lack of a tutorial is unfortunate, as it left me utterly confused originally. However, after I realized what was going on, it became more interesting. I do wish that the vision circle was bigger, or that what exactly was killing my doppelganger was shown/more clear. Regardless, thanks for this submission! The concept is certainly interesting.

Hi! I'm glad you enjoyed it, a tutorial was actually in my plan, unfortunately, the game jam does not actually line up with my weekend (friday and saturday) so did not have time to add a quality one in. As for what's killing the doppelgangers, I actually have a floor spike animation but once again didn't quite have time to implement it. So I attempted to polish what I had. Thanks for the suggestions, I will definitely attempt to time manage better next year!

It feels like a mind sweeper like game. I haven't played anything like it.

This was a really great mechanic. I wish you would develop it further! It can make for super interesting puzzles! Keep it up. Good luck!

Sound is really nice, good job !

I found a ladder, I'm not sure what to do with it tho ?

One thing that bothered me is that I kept sending two guys to die in the same spot, because of the muscle memory of the double tap in a direction to move.

Developer(+1)

I'm glad you enjoyed it! Right... The ladder represented the goal which was later realised was never programmed. As for the double tap. that makes sense I should add more delay to the spirit after it dies. Thanks for the feedback! :D

Ahah no worries, I would add that reaching the ladder is the goal somewhere on your game page so that people know when they completed the game.

Oh yes! Good idea, I may have accidentally wasted some people's time haha

Hi, this was my first GMTK game jam and this is more of a demo of a cool mechanic and concept than a full-blown game. Thank you for viewing my game though!
