This was quite amazing for a jam game!  So many characters.  I must say that the collision boxes / duplication of the character when crossing over between the two edges of the screen really got me sploded a lot of times.  Sometimes I could see the same character on both edges of the screen, and it was just rather confusing XD  Just something to be aware of.
The difficulty curve in my first run of the first level was actually VERY high because I was introduced to only a couple of periodic attackers, rather than any of the OP shooters :D  But once I started over it really balanced out most of the time and kept things interesting with depending on which ships you had.  Really if the screen-edge duplication hadn't been happening I think I would have just kept on playing. Great job!! ^_^

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah, I think I Will tone down the screen wrap effect to avoid confusion. Thanks again!

A really quality shump experience, a lot of character captured in just the brief messages you get when each ship joins up, a good difficulty curve, and overall just a really well-made game, very impressive for 48hrs! Great work!

Fun: The gameplay was fun and the amount of content was amazing! The one nitpick I have here is that it was confusing that sometimes you could see something multiple times because of the screen wrap.

Originality: Not the most original game idea but a really smart take on the theme!

Presentation: The audio fit well and the visuals were amazing!

Overall: Wow this game is really great! The amount of content in just two days is staggering.

Thanks for the feedback! The screen wrap has only 8 pixels of width repeating on the other side but I might remove them to avoid confusion.

seeing all the bullets shower and damage every enemy on screen is really satisfying, and the art and sound effects really add to the experience. it's very fun all-around :)

Developer

Thanks! Glad tou enjoyed It!

Wow, the amount of content in this game is massive! The gameplay started to get a lil stale by the end of the first level for me, but once the second hit, it was a blast. Sprite work is gorgeous, and I love how gameplay is also joined together, but with a timer. Fantastic entry!

Yeah, the first level is a tutorial more than anything. I didn't have time to playtest really so I made it too easy rather than too hard just to be safe. Thanks!
