Holy god, this is hard. I could only manage to beat this on the lowest difficulty but really creative and well done. I did not have any problems with the controls. Also rock climbing was really a creative and original choice but it makes a ton a of sense. On belay my friend. Belay On, Climbing, Climb Away.
My mouse scroll wheel is broken, so I couldn't get very far. But I really like your idea. The way you control the character is creative. Dragging the hands to the handholds while also paying attention to the slack is very challenging.
Aw man :\. That's the down side of jam games I guess - no time for accessibility, lol. I liked your game, by the way!
Really unique mechanic, the art could use a bit more contrast, all the tan sand/rock started to blend together for me. Plus, as someone that has done rock climbing in the past, I can confirm this is an accurate representation of my frustration will absent-minded belay buddies.
