I am claiming world champion of Belay On with an expert time of 47.95!

Level and small concept update, Give it a look!

Hey! Great job, i really like the concept for this and I think there is a lot you can do with the idea. A complaint I have though is that the jump is so fast that it is really difficult to switch colors in mid air. I got stuck on level 4 at the bottom level. I knew what i was supposed to do but the time frame to swap at the bottom was to difficult and the safe area in the middle was too small. Also, I think the control lay out could be a little different though that's not a big deal. Also maybe a color wheel at the top of the screen to show what order the colors are in because I kept forgetting but also that might just be part of the game.

I really like what you have and I hope you continue with this!

Hey! I played your game and I really like the concept! The replay after you beat the level is really clever and made me laugh. I think it would be cool if the puzzles continued outside the house. That would allow for more silly options of things that you messed up as well as more art to keep the setting interesting!

I enjoyed playing your game! Good luck on this and your future projects!

Hello!

I played your game and i agree with most of what theSneak had to day. Something that I think will help a lot is some small improvements to your character controller. adding variable jump height  and coyote time would help a lot. there are a ton of tutorials for this. Also i tried to use a controller but was unable to and i think that could be an easy fix in unity.

Best of luck to you on your game!

Hello!

I gave your game a try and got through the second world. The character art is nice and i enjoyed the music! There seemed to be several bugs through out and i think malerouille pointed them out already. There were three things that stood out to me that needed fixed. I would change when you fall on spikes. there is no invulnerability so you dont have a chance to get away.  Also the enemy hit boxes were weird. I feel like i would get hurt even if i jumped on top of them. lastly, i think if you were able to jump on top of the bosses heads instead of just falling through them would be nice.

Good job and keep plugging away!

Nice Work! I get the feeling of be in the cold but not so isolated that i want to leave. haha How long are you in that area and does this song just repeat over and over? if so, i would say maybe make each part of the song longer so it doesn't loop as quickly, though I do enjoy all the parts and shifts that you do have!

This is such an awesome concept! I really like couch coop so this was the right game for me. I played with a friend and I also was curious what the game would be like if I just played by myself. I actually had a good time with both. Playing by myself made the game feel even more puzzle like so you could maybe make a world with the single player in mind, though they work great fro single player as they are now (for as much as i played at least). My one little critique is that step sounds were really loud and i didn't have an options menu to turn it down, but that's just a small thing. Good work and I think you got something here!

Thank you so much for playing!

1. Yea, I'm glad you stuck through until you got the mask. I liked the idea of having normal rooms that then became very different when you got the mask.

2. Nice job! i think i should definitely make that room easier. You made it 20/55!

3. I hope that art will make this a little more obvious but I'm glad it all ended making sense!

I really appreciate the kind words! :)

Hello! I just finished an early prototype and I would love to hear what you guys think of the core concept. There is no art yet because I wanted to see if the game play alone would be fun for people. There is about 30 - 60 minutes of game play depending on your skill level. Also, feel free to go for the collectibles (orange squares) or not.

Some Questions to think about

1. Did you have fun?

2. Was the game too hard? (though the game is meant to be difficult)

3. Are there any levels that stood out? (good or bad)

Thank you so much in advance! I have a lot of ideas for future levels, mechanics/features, and themes so i hope you guys like it!
