How does your game fit the theme?
The player can use the right mouse button to shoot Goo, which attaches to enemies and blocks their movement. When multiple enemies are connected by the same goo, damage is shared between them. However, if these enemies aren't killed fast enough, they may use the Goo to combine and become stronger. All of these interactions (and more) involve joining together.

Sometimes it felt like there wasn't a huge incentive to glue enemies together, especially knowing they might combine. The smaller blue ones and purple chasers had me use it more often. Maybe add a score multiplier pop-up if you kill multiple enemies at once. That way the player is wants to use the unique mechanic more.

Hi LordOfLemon!

I am a huge fan of the music in this game. Love me some metal!

I didn't seem to find a way to get the stick mechanic to work, but in theory it sounds really cool and novel. I'm sure I was just too inept!

I think the parallax background makes it a little tough to focus on enemies. I get that it fits with your aesthetic, but I found it distracting. Something as simple as changing the color could solve that issue, and of course many may not see it as an issue at all.

Super fun game! Good luck in the rest of the jam!

Best,

Get off my ass!

Fun little shooter, but I sucked at gooing the dudes. I really loved the Tron/Hacker vibes.

My high score: 7331

Interesting game. Good take on the theme. I like the visuals as well as the quirky voice lines and action-y music which really pump you up for the gameplay.  Found it to be really difficult but maybe I just need to git gud.

Great game! I really like the "retro" style and the amount of action going on. Really unique take on the theme, great job!
