I really really appreciate how clever this concept is when you really start thinking about it. The added consideration of which block to drop on which other block adds so much. At first I wondered if there was a hidden timer that I didn't notice that increased every time I dragged a bigger number into a smaller one. Then I realized - it's an emergent timer! The act of dragging a big number up to a smaller one physically moves the whole block upwards, giving you more time till it hits the ground. The fact that this timer mechanic is a natural consequence of the core mechanic is wonderful, I love it so much!

I loved the concept! Got to 130 points and then lost on purpose because I knew I could pretty much keep forever (at least until my arm would let me :D).

Haha, yeah, the game isn't too challenge once you figure out how to play. Glad you had a good time still. If I continue working on it post-jam, I'll definitely think about ways to ramp up the late game's difficulty and change things up a bit over time.

I really like this mechanic you did! It fits perfectly with the theme and would make a cool mobile game! With some polish, I think you'd have something interesting here!

Cool idea, but i don´t get why i die. Maybe implement a tutorial or something, but for three hours - wow! I hope the feedback helped you, would be nice if you would check out my submission too. :)

You will lose as soon as one block touches the bottom of the screen. A red zone will flash up to warn you about blocks getting to low. Admittedly though it's easy to miss, given the very (!) simple visuals and it's a bit harsh for first time players. Thanks for playing!

As a game made in three hours, really neat and employs an interesting mechanic! Definitely requires you to keep engaged and think about your moves. Nice work!

Great little game here, really had to think about which ones to join and in what order each time, kept me on my toes! Only thing I would suggest is having some sort of feedback or indicator that you have selected a block, since I found myself unsure if I had selected one or not. Still, a lot of fun, really great work!

Dude, this is a great little game for a 48 jam! It's a fun arcade style game that would make a great mobile game albeit with a whole bunch of polish. With some neon colors, particle effects and post processing this is something I'd see doing well on the app store. Keep up the great work!

I like the risk/reward of only getting points if you do the higher block first, but the game totally froze on me twice while playing for just 2 minutes, and the presentation quality needs some work.

Really sorry to hear that the freezes  came in the way of your enjoyment. They will only happen if you already had one block selected when losing the game. If you start a new run after that and click on any block, the game will crash. I implemented the gameover-screen last minute and only had time to run a few tests where I didn't click any blocks, so I missed that. Will upload a patch after the voting ends.

Regarding the presentation you're obviously right though, not gonna argue that, hehe. Still pretty happy with it for just three hours of work. And given that I'm especially pleased to hear the balancing of risk and reward (i.e. the actual game loop) kinda worked for you.

It was definitely a good concept, but it didn't appeal to me as it has simple visuals with slow gameplay that didn't reward me enough to keep the boxes safe (and keep playing the game). It was also unclear which box I have selected. But for a lone developer definitely an impressive game!

Thank you for the honest review. :) The game was made in only three hours, so I had to make some pretty substantial compromises. However, I really should have included some indication of which block is currently selected, I can perfectly understand your confusion there.
