How does your game fit the theme?
The player is constantly tethered to different weapons, and they have to move them using their momentum. The weapons depend entirely on being joined to the player's ship!

Fun game, I really like the art style.
Sweet visuals and smooth animation / fluid movements.
Really fun! The presentation was great and the physics felt just right, not too slippery and not too static. The different weapons was a nice touch as well since they felt like meaningful decisions and not just simple upgrades like a bigger wrecking ball. Great game! :)
😆 it's Really fun. Love the Super Arcade vibe. Awesome game 👍
Love the retro vibes. Nailed that super well.
This is a really fun concept. I love the music! Its really difficult to hit enemies at the top of the screen, which stopped me from getting to far, but I enjoyed the parts I saw a lot. Well done!
Art styles great and I love the concept of different weapons power ups. I just found them a bit too hard to control at times, it would be fine if they were fast but their quite slow.
The presentation for this one is really good and clean. You can clearly destinguish what is going on in the level. The main mechanic fits very well them, but I kinda wish the ball had more momentum. Idk, maybe I missed something, but the projectile was mostly chilling on the bottom, while I always had the desire to spin it with high speed and smash the enemies. In rest, good entry.
Very well executed game. I got a little sad when I destroyed my health kits hahaha
wow. the music fit perfectly. it didnt seem like the left and right click were working as intended for me. I couldn't get the ball to fly around quite right.
Very cool game, great job! I dig the aesthetic.
We had a similar idea for the theme but sadly the skills did not transfer and I sucked at this game :p
A cool interpretation of the theme. I really like this retro style and the idea is well implemented.
The weapons really add another level to the game.
The only thing is that you could have put a little bit more work into balancing and the way the enemys behave.
Nevertheless a succeeded game :D
Thank you so much for the in-depth review, so glad you liked it! Balancing is for sure top of my to-do list! :)
It's definitely a game with "juice", although I found myself trying to avoid every power up besides the gun due to all the physics weapons being too imprecise to control. Good work!
Haha yeah, probably the optimal strategy right now until I rebalance things! Thanks so much for playing though, so glad you liked it besides!
The music is giving me earworms and the retro synthwave art style is so awesome! However the rope-weapon would need a lot of rebalancing to make it more fun than what it is now.
Thank you! And yeah, rebalancing that is definitely the plan, appreciate the feedback!
Neat idea! I think the rope was a bit too elastic, made it pretty hard to get it where I wanted it.
An idea could be being able to reel in and out whatever you're tethered too
Was still fun!
That's a great idea, might try implement it once the jam is over! Thanks so much for it, glad you had fun and liked it!
I like the art style!
Thanks, so glad you liked it!
Amazing Game!
Thank you so much!
I do love swinging around with physics objects.
However, as soon as I got the gun, the best strategy is to just move as little as possible to get the best aim with the gun.
Glad you liked it! Yeah, with a bit more time I'd have liked to try balance it a bit more, thanks for the feedback though!
Looks and sounds great, very polished.
Great that you included different weapons, adds a nice variety to it.
I think the swinging mechanic could be tweaked a bit, felt a bit too hard to get momentum going.
Thanks so much, so glad you liked it! Appreciate the feedback too, definitely something I'd like to go back and tweak to get feeling just right!
Nice game!
Thanks! So glad you liked it!
