This is a really cool idea! I like how the player comments on her feelings while going through the dungeon. I wish I could keep building the same dungeon after testing it once, though---I spent a while making mine but it ended up being too hard, but I didn't want to make it a second time.

Developer

The idea was to have only one shot kinda like a reverse roguelike, when the player quits he’s gone for good. But losing all your hard work building the dungeon really is a bit much :) When I update the game there will be alternate game modes that allow you to continue.

nice concept! for once it's not "the dungeon has to kill the player" but instead you have to help/carry her! i loved the many mobs/objects available, but i had no idea what certain items were, it may lack a bit of information on them. apart from that, it was fun to play and learn AI's logic!

Surprisingly very enjoyable, its nice the player was open on what makes the level better for him, that way i could fix it next layer, like some sort of real time mario maker - but dungeony,  well done!

(Also if you could check out my game as well it would be highly appreciated :D )

Really enjoyed it! Ironically it felt a bit linear (just a loop of give item, fight monster, give stronger item, fight stronger monster) but just as ironically it was just the right length for me not to get board with the gameplay :D Would love to see a version with more possibilities and meters to appease ^_^

Developer

Thought about using more meters but kept it to the single mood meter for the jam version so I could deliver before the deadline :) Will update after the jam is over and see where this goes. Thanks for the feedback!

Love the idea, my player was always soo bored haha.

Absolutely loved this game. Although I got to admit I was trying to make the game a living nightmare for him just enough that he would keep on playing. Not my fault the player does not appreciate my art of a dungeon!

Developer

Sounds like a great idea for an alternate game mode! Thanks for the feedback!

a very novel idea, but i feel like there should be a downside to giving a ton of items

Developer

Yeah I couldn’t implement all the rating systems I had in mind because I ran out of time, and this was one of them. I’ll keep working on it and release an update after the jam is over. Thanks for the feedback!

I feel Zelda vibe

I love dungeon builder games, and was exited to play! I really enjoy the alternative approach where  you are trying to entertain the player as to kill them. Some additional variety and complexity would have been nice, as well as not having to restart upon failing. Fun concept, fun game.

I have a few ideas for more more items, traps etc. and will update the game after the jam is over. Thanks for the feedback!

Ill be sure to pay it when you do
