I can't run Unreal Engine games on my pc because of crashes but the game looks good regardless!

Developer

Sorry to hear that! We've been trying to switch to a more jam-appropriate engine, like Godot or Unity, so I'm hoping next jam you'll be able to play our games

Great looking game! I like the way it looks and sounds, good job :) I encountered a thing where as soon as the sides switches, the ball passes the wall instead of bouncing, leaving the map :\ but good job overall

The music is really nice and the graphics are also pretty good!

It messed my brain up a little but is was fun to play and the controlls were easy! But it became repetitive quite quickly, maybe you could add more variety!

But great game and a really nice submission for this jam!

loved the soundtracks, that took me a lot in,  really nice game

Developer

Thank you! I tried to create a really energetic and catchy track!

I loved the game, my suggestion are to lower a bit the AI and maybe make that the player can be moved with the mouse y position. For the rest great game!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

We planned for AI balancing and customization but only managed to do basic (perfect) AI bot in time

I'm loving the games that switch roles as the game goes on, especially in the thick of it like this one.  Good work

Cool concept! Pong is a classic, and this is a good reinterpretation. Well done!!

Nicely made! The “catching” mechanic seems broken though, 70% of the time the shot bounces right out of the screen on my side after I catch, which makes the risk not worth it.

Developer

Thanks for the feedback!

Do you mean the ball bounces off of your ship instead of flying through? Seems like a bug indeed.

I only managed to reproduce it when catching the ball after the last bounce before switching roles, i.e. I dodge the ball, the roles are switched, I try to catch but it now bounces off. Though that probably wouldn't make it 70% of the time

gameplay kinda reminded me of kingdom hearts 1 flying my goob ship around. Loved the art. Great job!

Nice concept! Great that you added PvP mode also. I like the music and style also. Unfortunately, the bot was too simple to catch me in my dodge round. Also controls needs some polishing. But I think the game has a potential. Good job!

Thanks for playing!

Yes, improving the AI is also one of the things that fell prey to time shortage(

As a composer, I am pleased to hear that my music was liked.)

I love the fact you made the effort to include a small tutorial.
But the controls felt a little bit too clunky to actually be able to play the game.

Developer

And I love the fact that you made the effort to download and play our game <3
Yep, true about the controls. We had quite a few problems (as usual) and didn't manage to make time for the balancing, unfortunately(
