This is a pretty fun runner! A bit tricky to control, but I enjoyed the very fast pace. The aesthetic is also neat, with vibrant colors and a nice soundtrack. I had fun playing it!
This game is so chaotic and fun! haha it feels really nice to control and strong arcade vibes, my only issue is the giant frog is hard to avoid / hide from but I kinda enjoy being destroyed by him.
Great artwork and execution of this project!

Reverse frogger? Nice idea! Not only that, but you added several fun and interesting elements on top of that! Unfortunately I couldn't get invested into the gameplay; mostly because I couldn't quite grasp how to optimize my play. There were spaces for hiding, but I felt like I was running away from the frog, and didn't really get a feel for how hiding benefited me. The mangos and jumps were fun, and running into bushes and animals added tension. I think the jumps were too small for me to feel confident about my control over them (even though it seems it was fine). Amazing artwork, music, and scene transitions. Loved the menu setup! Although I wish the play button were more prominent.

Nice job! Not sure what the hiding is supposed to do, I couldnt seem to get it to work, but everything else worked fine. Only thing I have to say is real nitpicky, for your UI elements in Godot, specifically the buttons, you can set an empty StyleBox under the Theme or under Theme Overrides > Styles you can set a style for pressed/focused so you dont have that box outline when selecting a button. Thats basically all I've got, and its more a tip than anything lol, good entry!
I saw you made a comment on my game about us sharing a similar concept, so I decided to play and rate your game. This was very well done, and an interesting contrast to my game (which was in part limited by the art assets I had available). The way the car moves in 8 directions is certainly a limitation of using sprites for the car (I ended up using a 3D model rendered to a SubViewport to work around that issue myself), but it works fairly well here. Your controls were very tight, with turning being immediate (whereas for my game I intentionally wanted the car to be somewhat sluggish to control by design), though that made the car's momentum feel kinda strange. I might have considered making the car accelerate and decelerate faster (in place of the brake button), but honestly, it wasn't that big of a deal either way. I did have some minor issues understanding where the collision was for hiding in the bushes. I also feel like it maybe could have more of an escalating difficulty. It kinda feels like at a certain point the game isn't getting harder, which for a highscore game can be a bit of a problem. Overall, I really liked the game, and just wanted to point out my observations in case they help. The only other thing I'll note is that I liked the Fullscreen option, and it seems like the setting persists between launches, except it doesn't get applied when relaunched correctly, which requires me to turn fullscreen on and back off again to play it in windowed mode. It's just a minor bug, but I thought I'd mention it.
Wow, really great, especially for only 47 hours. The game is super fun to play and is really well polished. Excellent work :D
Damn, love it! Overall just really clever game design and some great level design as well and man it's just so funky! The music along with the car's animations just makes it feel so alive! Great wrok! :D
Really great and addictive. I love the art and music. Great job!
Cool game and really nice music! Got Jurassic Frogged so many times
Cool game and nice soundtrack. I enjoyed it :)
Really cool and fun game! Gameplay and visuals are amazing! Thanks for such an experience!
Interesting twist on Frogger. GG!
A very fun concept with addictive gameplay, I think future versions would be better without the hide mechanic though and focus more on the chase
I have fun playing the game;) Its kinda hard though, but its revarding if you manage to drive longer. You achieved to create atmosphere of "being chased" with crazy music and incoming obstacles.
I think it would be nice if you would unify the art style of all elements, the style of car was very nice.
Overall very good entry!
This was an overall pretty fun game, although I definitely echo what others have said, in that I do not feel that the Hide mechanic adds anything, and instead makes the most optimal play to just be patient and tediously hide at every other opportunity. I also would not have guessed that this was meant to be a reversal of Frogger if it wasn't mentioned lol.
Good luck in the jam!
Fun game indeed! Love it
Fun game. Imo the hiding mechanic slows the game down a bit too much but thats just a personal thing. And I think if the frog sees you but you get to a bush in time it shouldn't kill you, it feels a bit too punishing as it is now. The presentation is very nice and the car feels fun to control. Good job!
Very fun and funny! The frog manages to be at the same time hilarious and terrifying. Great controls on the car and I really loved the small details like the parallax on the tutorial or the marker for my furthest distance. Great game!
Controlling the car was a lot of fun, it felt good to go really fast and speed down the lane. I think that the game over screen should have a key that restarts it right there, I would die quickly and would rather just try again than go through the menu.
I agree with others that the hiding mechanic isn't the best. I didn't want to hide because it was more fun to be driving really fast.
As a lover of frogs, this is an excellent game. More frogs in the future please!
