Cute and adorable concept!

I suspect that if I was living alone and messes somehow got inexplicably cleaned up and such, that would scare me even if I didn't actually see the ghost itself.  (But maybe this old woman is different than me in that respect.)

I liked this game.

One minor issue: The thought balloon that appears at the beginning goes away on its own, which is just barely enough time to read it.  But also if I win and click Retry, then the text in the thought balloon doesn't appear and the game just freezes.

Developer

Haha yes, although it's funny that we might expect more mess if we live alone but not things to be tidier (I know that definitely goes for me).

Glad you liked the game and thanks for the feedback. It seems like we had some issues on Retry that persisted into the final build but hopefully they weren't game breaking.

Nice game and presentation! One suggestion is to have visual indicators on the doors to show which ones are connected.

Developer

Thanks, the original design had colours on door pairs but that unfortunately didn't make it into the final game or wasn't as obvious. The entrance/exit doors are always above/below each other though but that doesn't help too much it seems.

Yeah, the colors would have helped a bit. Though it is a minor issue and I quickly got used to the doors after playing a few rounds.

Hey, GrapefruitChili! Long time no see! Glad to see you still making games. :))

Just commenting to say that this submission is so nice, and congrats to the team! The story is very cute, and the art has so much charm and polish! The music had the perfect vibe, too. I really enjoyed playing!

I loved the visuals and music on this. I also thought the writing was exquisite and wholesome! Simple mechanics but it does fulfill the theme of roll reversal and I felt good helping poor ol Marlene
