Nice idea. I like the animations you made for all the attack combinations. Also the art style looks nice. Music felt matching as well. Background could have some moving parts like clouds and birds instead of static image. Good Job!
Thanks!
Didn't thought of clouds actually, pretty nice idea to bring more life to the street
Feel free to hop into my game as well and share your thoughts and ratings if you have the time!
Cool concept! I noticed the background buildings were kinda blurry (not sure if that was intentional or not) I really like the cover with the soda can impaled on a katana. Great work!
Thanks!
The blurriness wasn't intentional, it is the only asset we took from the internet and didn't change at all, didn't managed to fix it in time.
Thanks! We hope you enjoyed playing!
As I mentioned in another comment, we had 24 hours to make the game so we didn't have the time to work on all the bugs.
We would have like to create a "boss battle" at the end and insert some actual progress and ending to the game but we simply didn't have the time.
Our goal was to see if we can actually create a something presentable in 24 hours and I think we accomplished it. Next year we'll even better!
Hey nice frogs!
I like the art and concept! It was a neat detail that the signs were "do not kick signs" :)
One thing I noticed was that when 'crouch' and a direction were pushed simultaneously, the character will continue on without any input, the controls could improve for a better UX but overall good job in 48 hours !
Thank!
It's so cool that you noticed the signs. Like I said on another comment, we created all the interactable objects so it's so fun to see that people noticed our little joke.
We noticed the crouch bug but we didn't have the time to fix it. We both work on Sundays so we only had 24 hours to make work on the game. You might also notice that the punch and kick "animations" aren't that animated and the game doesn't really have and ending or progress.
For us it was a challenge to see if we can make a game in a day. It was fun and stressing and next year we're gonna be better.
Interesting concept and very fun! The visuals were put together nicely too!
Thanks!
You chose nice art and cool music.
Thanks! We found the background on google and the frog is from "pixel adventure 1", we added crouching, kicking and punching to it and created all the intractable objects.
