It's a really interesting Idea, I loved the overall topdown mechanic of walking around the hotel floors "committing" the crimes.
Good idea! I love this art and sounds... Also presentation is good. Creativity is enough but...maybe there could be more freedom in gameplay.
Your game has a very interesting concept ! I love the idea of using description of the scene to help the player how to murder people it is a fun and clever way to give advice.
I love the execution too, even if i'm not fond of pixel art. Overall it is an impressive game jam game and a promising concept !
Very well thought-out unique idea and design along with splendid execution. No idea how your team manages everything in time, but whatever it is, it is super working!
The music is the first thing that screams quality for me when I first open the game. It stands and matches the game theme very well! The art is also fun for both characters and map design, in addition to a nice UI and good palette. I like it very much.
As for some feedback, I think I might have seen some bug in the action indicator showing but not being able to interact. Also, I think it would look more lively if random characters in the game talked or have a text box above their head, so it is a bit more impactful when you kill a in the game. Also also, I think some levels just seem a bit too "still", like the game concept is quite chaotic along with the music, so would be nice to see more things move. I'm not sure.
Those are just some suggestions though, I think what you have is already impressive.
