Cool concept with an awesome art style and a great level of polish. Great job!
Really liked the challenge the puzzles posed! Also love the simple aesthetic!
I like it. Very challenging game.
I liked the mind control idea but some of the puzzles had annoying traps.
I'm not really sure what you mean by, "annoying trap". Could you please elaborate?
Thanks for playing!
for example in level 7 if you don;t line up the bridge with the flag island you won't be able to push the rock into the spot it needs to be t get to the flag island so you have to do it again but this time move the bridge a little, but other than these minor annoyances i thought it was a great game.
Aha! That is definitely the sort of thing I would have fixed during the jam if I'd noticed it. In the post-jam version, I'll extend the flag island by an extra tile to the right.
really great puzzle game! the web build runs pretty slow for me, but that might just be the nature of web builds (or my browser is being weird). i haven't done all of the puzzles yet (only got to level 6) but they've been enjoyable.
excellent idea, very well executed, and the clever level design had me scratching my head for a moment. good controller support as well, but wish you had included the controls for gamepad
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it! : )
I can post the gamepad controls in the project description maybe, that might help.
Not the most original idea in terms of mechanics, but I think the presentation and style is super charming and it carries the game and it makes it very enjoyable. Level design is also gentle and steady, except for level 5 where I got stuck.
Best of luck in your future projects!
Thanks for the kind words, I'm really glad you liked the presentation. I'm surprised you've seen these mechanics before!
You can press escape to pause the game and switch levels if you want, you don't have to play them in order! Plus, the game saves your progress so you can come back to it if you want : )
Totally forgot this game had a level select. For some reason I didn't bat an eye when it did appear, did not expect game jam games to be feature complete xD. Same story with the pause menu, I had no idea you could restart the level this way.
Played it for a bit and it seems like level 5 is just the odd one out. Later levels are better, but seem to drag on a bit or at least getting to the end goal feels like busy work than figuring out a solution. I do like the wind mechanic though!
Ha, yep we spent a lot of time polishing.
For level 5, you can push other guys like the fire guy around when you're the rock guy if that's what you're stuck on. Either way I'm glad you had a good time with the other levels!
