I didn't get everything either, but playing a mimic is a nice twist!
I very much love the whole idea in this game and I like the art too. I am not sure how to lose, but it still is pretty fun to play. A tutorial would be a great addition, because in the beginning I wasn't sure what to do exactly. Overall a fun game!

The concept of this game is super, super cool! With more planning on game design this could be a hit! The art is beautiful, love hit. Good job team!!!
Nice art and idea, good job!
Incredible art and great, humorous dialogue from the characters! Very fun to munch on some nasty adventurers who swear in front of kids. Great job!
(Consider checking out my submission, Duck Run! It's a spin on the classic Duck Hunt game)
I enjoyed this a lot!
(I do feel a bit full, after munching on a rather large group of misogynistic crypto bros thought xD)
The art is absolutely gorgeous, the writing is sharp and the idea of playing as a chest deciding on what to give out and when to turn into a mimic is absolutely on theme.
The text prompts and general gameplay started to get a bit repetative after level 10, but that's already a huge ambount of text and background art for a 48h jam!
All in all one of my favorits so far, good luck with the vote!
This game was super fun! The mechanics weren't immediately apparent, but the longer I played, the more I enjoyed! The quirky character profiles as well as the cool alignment system with the super nice art as a cherry on top makes this definitely one of my highest rated games! I wanna see more of this!
Foreward: I wish Itch.io took reviewer's average rating of the entire game jam as the baseline of how the entry is rated.
A very cute and interesting game! Sadly a bug made me wonder if there was something wrong with the design. I still had items in the chest to give to adventurers, but yet the chest still ate people.
Not to mention that one of the characters didn't collect the potion handed to them. See image below for reference:
Wow the art is fantastic. Great work on the game too.
I love the idea! I can easily see it being expanded into a fun full game. Though as of right now there is no clear goal, which hurts the experience a little bit. Oh and also I found one bug where item icon remained in place when an adventurer went into the boss room, which made other icons unreadable. Wasn't much of an issue tho. All in all, amazing entry, the descriptions and general feel of the game is superb.
What a cool concept for the theme! Love lovee the art design, very well done!
Loved the concept, the art, the text... Great job overall! AGAB! :)
Incredibly hilarious and interesting concept! Took a few rounds to start understanding what the goal was, but once I got the hang of it, it was easy to get lost in the flavorful gameplay and text this game has. Great stuff!
Very very interesting idea and i like it
