Rather than controlling the player character, you take on the role of the game level designer. The player moves on its own, while you must edit the level to help it reach the goal.

Not a bad concept but would be great if the cat would be more influenceable in some way

Nice idea! I do think that the player AI (or whatever you did) could use some work and even just a system where you can hold WASD to move instead of spamming it would be good.
This is a pretty cool idea! Unfortunately, it is extremely hard to predict how the cat will behave. I guess you’ve designed a level, recorded your playthrough and then deleted that level? That’s a neat way of doing it, but it’s just so hard to guess what the original level could have looked like.
Also, I think the controls don’t really work in the game’s favor, since it’s very hard to quickly iterate level designs, which is basically what you want to do here. Maybe a mouse-based editor would work better?
I would also consider turning this from a physics-based game into a rules- / grid-based game, just to make it a little less unpredictable. That might just be me liking puzzle games, though.
Great job on finishing what looks like your first released game, though! Doing that in a 48 h time window is hard, so props for doing so!
Is the cat supposed to stop moving after a certain amount of time?
