Pretty fun for how simple it is! It could be more polished but you can say that about 99% of game jam games so I think you did a pretty good job

There is something really satisfying about just throwing hordes of disposible goons in the way of the AI. I had a good bit of fun with this.

If you added some information on how the AI moves, I think that would take the game to the next level so players can strategize more. Eventually I developed a strategy to deal with the AI (move in front and hang back until the AI moves into the attack range), but I still don't really understand it, which makes some wins and losses feel like RNG.

Fun concept! Definitely makes you feel like you're the enemies in the hero's way

Took me a moment to realise how to control the game (WASD didn't work) so a tutorial would be nice, but once I figured it out I usually just spammed random directions and attack to win. I would like to see where the prince is going to move so that I can plan where to move my goons to block his path. I have to say though - the sound effects are very interesting :) At the end of the day I did enjoy it!

Oh, shit, you are right about WASD not working, thanks for pointing that out C: And oh! I like the idea of having the prince broadcast what he about to do kinda into the breach style.
