I agree with others that have said that you don't need to apologize!
I am curious: Which things didn't get finished? I know that the game mentions being able to interact with Switches, but that part didn't seem to work for me, so I'm assuming that that is part of it? Or if they do work, then I couldn't figure it out 😄Anyway, I'm glad that you were able to get something submitted, and I wish you goodluck in your future endeavors!
A few things didn't get finished: The UI was supposed to be not as quick and dirty as it ended up being. There was supposed to be a level select and 3 levels (I even had the backgrounds and level system done and the levels ready to be made). There was supposed to be actual endings (which depended on the number of coins collected), and finally I was gonna draw some pixel art for the main menu and stuff that I didn't have time to do.
I also didn't have a lot of time to bug test so the switches not working is probably a bug I just didn't catch. I probably could've gotten this all done in some capacity (a lot of what I just mentioned had a decent amount of work in each by the time I scrapped them) but by the time I finished what was submitted, it was 4 hours from the deadline and I was just too exhausted to keep going. :(
Yeah you did good! Don't beat yourself up. Keep trying!
Good effort! You don't need to apologise, this is impressive work for 24 hours!
