Fun and chaotic game! It's neat to collect the coins and just watch the army multiply.
Controlling with a mouse was a bit difficult though - I think I would've preferred if I could've controlled one coin (and if that coin died I'd become the closest coin to it)?
Still, it's fun to just run over the shopkeepers with coins!
I love the idea! collect the dirty shopkeepers! It felt like it was a bit inspired by Zombie Tsunami?
Anyways I like the mechanics, I am sure you have faced some challenges with regards to camera lerping and the coins AI, but overall great job!
As a small piece of feedback it would have been useful to know clearly how many coins you need to take down a shopkeeper.
If you can find the time, would you please check out our game as well?!
Our twist of the theme is that a critic tries to play your unfinished game, and you fight from inside the computer to make him like it.
Pretty crazy game! I'm impressed that there are 3 levels worth of content :) good work!
Chaotic, as Zircon said, seems about right. I find it a bit unintuitive to control, and I'm not quite sure if I really get the point. Sure, you gather coins and beat up shopkeepers but... why? It feels like a Mario game where the level is just coins, no platforming, no relevant enemies, you just kinda press forward. The actual dev works seems alright, but I'm wondering if it wouldn't have been wise to spend a bit more time on figuring out a better vision.
Yup, I didn't got time to do a lot, and my vision was a bit more ambitious, but if I didn't get time to complete it the way it were, I would had even less time making AI for "heroes" as relevant enemies/bosses, and it would be an interesting feature for an update. Anyways I'll use what I have to make it then a bit more puzzle like and think about how to get enough coins to get past the shop keepers without losing all the army.
Thank you very much for the feedback :D
One of the wildest games I've played so far. I like the way the horde moves, its super chaotic.
Thank you :D
