A pretty challenging game, as you have to constantly monitor the player and making sure they don’t fall on the ground.
My only two complaints are that sometimes the game doesn’t reset immediately after the player falls out of the screen for some reason, and that sometimes the platform makes the player bounce really high (out of screen), which makes it hard to know exactly where the player is and where to place your platform.
Other than that, great game.
Very interesting mechanics! Even though it got too challenging for me, I still had tons of fun!
Very fun game but becomes really difficult when the level is side-scrolling since Stuart likes to go side to side so much. If he decides to go to the left all of a sudden it becomes very difficult to keep him going to the right. The other mechanics such as the rockets are actually really well designed tho! Keeps the difficulty up but not too much punishing as to where its impossible. Would love to see an even more polished build of this!
Thanks for the feedback! We did implement some systems that would encourage Stuart to stay somewhat close to the middle but sometimes that isn't enough. A little tip though: you can intentionally use the rocket explosions to launch him where you want but it is a little tricky. Also possible to use the edge of the platform to nudge him but it is much less reliable. In general though, yes, he could do with some tweaking to make him less likely to wander off. We might do a little more polish once the rating period is over but unfortunately I don't think we'll do much more with it. Was a fun project to work on though.
Really nice addictive game amazing job!
really addictive! Nice art :)
Was playing on mobile and the viewport dindn’t quite match. I could not see the walls.
Great idea with bullets colliding with the here and blocking him instead of killing
Thanks for the feedback! The game was really only designed for PC so I'm surprised it even works on mobile without any input from us. That's pretty cool
Really great, fresh and unique idea. I love it that you also destroy the bullets. Greate use of the theme. GG!
