I know this was said a lot of times already but still, the concept is really interesting! Since both your roles are going to be reversed while you play, when you play as the character you want to make as much progress as possible but not too much or you're also giving an advantage to your opponent, and when you're the dungeon master you want to make the task hard for the player, but not too hard because you'll have to play right after! 👏

A very nice idea! Would be even better with more dungeons to keep players on their toes. Great job! 😁

Great concept and it fits nice the theme!

The gameplay idea is great and it has a nice art at syle. Congrats for your job :D

The only feedback I can think of is that maybe I would change the pacing of the game, as long as switching roles feels kinda fast and doesn't feel so random. Maybe having a larger level would change this pacing perception. That said, it's still a really cool game, I enjoyed playing it!

Btw, if you guys want to check my game as well, I would be pleased ^^

Thanks so much, I'm glad you liked it!

I agree, the pacing is off and the level is too small, I had a little time - about 10 hours in total - so could not polish a lot, but I'm working on an updated version and will post as a separate game after the voting :)

Thanks for the compliment on the art but I can't take the credit,  it is the Mini Dungeon asset by Kenney.

Nice use of the theme! Would love to see a more refined version of it!

Interesting concept, hope you can finish it!

Its interesting the idea that you need to make a path, but at the same time prevent the player for winning. Forces some strategy.

Seems like a really neat idea but I couldn't figure out the controls. I seemed to win anyway though! :)

Developer

Thanks so much! I'm updating the controls  and will post the fixed version as a separate game after the voting ended.

I accidentally selected "Yes" for "Did your team create the vast majority of the art during the 48 hours?", though 99% of the assets are from Kenney (credited on the About screen properly).
