It’s fun and I love the mechanics, though the art style and UI feels a bit bland

Developer

I tried :')

it’s okay!

Really enjoyed playing as the sword! Got to level 50 before I finally got taken down.

Hahaha I loved this! Such an interesting take on hack n slash! Got stuck a few times n lost sadly but really enjoyed it, great job!

Fun game! Kept playing to level 70 just cause of how fun the dash and slow-mo was. I feel like adding a final boss or something would've taken it to the next level, but hey, it's a game jam.

Fun to use the spinning move on enemies. The small delay with sword and the mouse can make stabbing enemies a bit difficult but enjoyable game overall

Really liked this game, the feedback and effects are super satisfying once you get the hang of the game!

What a fun concept! Love the overall aesthetics of the game, super well done!!!

Feels a bit clunky and silly, but weirdly satisfy to play. Reminds me of masterpieces like Getting Over It. Perhaps that game inspired you?

Developer

Yes, partly so. Of course, it takes time to get used to the controls in such games.

Nice game! This definitely one of the best game I have played so far on this jam. Killing enemies in masses is really satisfiing ( I reached level 119 ). But I do not think it matches up with the theme very well.

Developer

Thanks for feedback!
Regarding the theme. We tried to give the controls to the sword instead of the swordsman, but maybe it's don't feel as good as we wanted too.

Great Game! I really like how juicy the game feels with the effects.

Nice game! I like how heavy the sword feels- it really gives the kills some extra impact. However I found the connection to the theme (and the overall narrative) to be a bit confusing- what is exactly is reversed? It seems like a really competently made game and is fun to play, so good job!

Developer

Thanks for feedback!
The Idea is to make playable sword instead of the swordsman. We tried to show it in gameplay, but maybe it's not that readable as we wanted to.
