How does your game fit the theme?
I took a mechanic from a different game genre and put itinto a new one, specifically I put the ammo management of a shooter and put into a diner rush game

Very clever twist on the food/order management genre. GG! I like the art style and really appreciate the level of polish in such a short time.

Very very solid. I love the soundtrack especially as the gameplay is a bit hectic for me. Good job

Well executed, Cool and fun game! Great job in 2 days! Check ours too!

Great game feel. The main UX thing to improve is making sure the conveyance of the icons are super clear. Two issues come to mind:

1. Potato and onion art are really similar. I think the game has enough challenge trying to memorize the ingredients, then react to the ammunition in front of them

2. There should only be one icon type for an ingredient. It's pretty confusing to have giant icons of one type (e.g. the enlarged potato chunk) but have a different icon for the recipe.

I think this has got a really nice blend of mechanics: memorization, aiming, and twitch reaction to ingredients while loading. Nice stuff!

Great use of theme. The pixel art is great and all the animations and interactions are really fluid. The text is really funny. Super well scoped and polished.    Fantastic job!

This is so awesome! Extremely well-polished too. One of the best games I've seen in this jam :)

a shotgun cooking fever dream. very fun game, I like the addition of contracts, and i think the game itself is very well designed. The controls feel very intuitive and shifting between scenes feels very easy rather than clunky. Presentation wise the game looks really nice, and the ingredients are very easy to understand. Well done, i think my only feedback is that level 2 might be a bit too hard after level 1, but i got through it eventually. Fantastic game,

Oh this one is really nice! We might see this one in the video.

Of course there are a few flaws as others mentioned, but overall it's really polished in terms of controls, visuals and effects.

Excellent use of the theme. Feels really polished for two days of work. I loved the feeling of the wobbly shotgun and going between the screen feels great.

Had fun playing this one! Sliding the shotgun left and right works very well. It makes the game very dynamic.
Shooting at the orders has a great feeling.

Only downside, as noticed by others, is the similar look of onions and potatoes and the differences between the sprites on the two screens. I mixed the two a them multiple times.

Great game!

fun, inventive concept. I might come back and play this more when I have time. And kept it mixed up with the choice after levels. Kudos. Did mix up onions and potatoes more then once, but that might have been just me :p

Extremely well polished, great overall, I just can't handle these kinds of games lol. Only complaint is that onions and potatoes are too close colour wise

Briliant! The controls of changing the menus where the chef's kiss! The action/timer was intense! And it also had a sort of memory game component on it! Good game! Well done!

Phenomenal entry, good juice, fun core gameplay, everything works well together. It gets repetitive fairly quickly though. I kept going to see if anything major would come to shake it up but at around day 13 I just stopped even though I was still earning over a thousand dollars. For a jam game though, there is a ton of fun here and its a really cool take on the theme.

The music didn't need to hit so hard, lol. Got my adrenaline pumping.

One small suggestion would be to have a distinct sound when you get a food item wrong. Also, the sprites in the UI being different, like the apple and the sliced one, can be a bit confusing at times. But honestly, it's not a big issue.

I really enjoyed the review texts!
And the contracts really impact on gameplay.

So much fun playing this!
