How does your game fit the theme?
In stead of you playing a card game, you play a card dealer, who takes bribes to let people win.

Kind of janky but it's a fun concept, I'd love to see a polishes version with more features. Any plans for further development after the Jam?
Yes, I didn't reset rotations properly. I barely finished the core mechanics in time and I didn't give it to someone else for playtesting. The idea was to at least upload the webversion afterwards and see how much time I can spare otherwise. Do you mean the rotations of the cards being janky? Or is there something else you ment?
Interseting concept, the game seems to have a tendency to break unfortunately, but I assume there isn't really an ending and it's mostly a proof of concept? That being said, it is fun to try and predict how the turn will pan out ahead of time and I could see this becoming a very enjoyable game with more time to cook!
Thanks for the feedback. Yes, unfortunately the game keeps on playing even when someone has no cards anymore, but I ran out of time. Did you mean this by breaking?
I would have loved to add so many things. My plan was to have an easy starting game and than ramp up the difficulty, maybe allowing you to customize how difficult you want to play (number of starting cards, see other player cards, etc.). It's actually all there, but like I said no time for UI.
Not quite, I noticed sometimes the discard pile gets stacked weird and some cards clip through the rest of the pile, and I noticed (albeit might be wrong) that after that point the AIs seem to play random cards. I'm not sure what causes it exactly, if it's related to the game ending but not working quite as right, or if it's related to the size of the pile.
And yea jam timelines to be like that. I'm sure the game can turn into something unique and really enjoyable with some work.
great idea, its a very interesting twist to a traditional card game. Its a very awesome work for a game jam, especially your first! I can easily see this becoming something amazing if you decide to keep working on it.
Thank you for the kind words. I will at least properly add the browser version and probably continue a bit after the rating period.
Cool Idea! Nice work.
i found that game really good looking, i like the gameplay also, i think adding animation fro card to better see where they go or like the comments under me said, to better understand what's going on
Your concept is interesting and it's an idea I've had, but I didn't go in that direction. It's really great to be able to test it out via your proposal.
The web version isn't set up to be launched in the browser, so see if you can't change it during the rating period.
Your game is nice, but I'd like to see the cards move with an animation to better understand what's going on.
Thank you for the kind respond. I would have liked to polish the game and have more to show than just the mvp. My initial idea was to have a first easy game and be able to tweak the difficulty your own (number of players, cards per hand, showing all/just in the beginning), but as my first game jam, I'm very happy. After the rating period I will change THIS post to include the browser version.
