The townsfolk didn't stand a chance haha. Cute Kraken and fun gameplay loop
Great pixel art at the beginning. I also finds the kraken actually really cute :D

The bullet hell gameplay was also really good and challenging. It's nice that you added sound effects and that you show the time on the gameover screen. (I did 02:34 on my first run).

Cute concept! It would've been neat to see different kinds of ships attack you for an added challenge, but overall great work! :)

Was fun, at some point there was so many bullets that I went turtle mode shielding in a corner lol
It is great fun. In my first game, I was just running into ships as I didn't knew (sry, didn't read the manual). Maybe some kind of foreshadowing indicating it's ability could be cool. Otherwise it's awesome.
Nice work! It would be nice if the kraken had more abilities to make it feel even more like a kraken.
It was a great game but the boats could have used a particle effect or animation on death to make it a bit more satisfactory.
Cool game, felt a bit easy at times, you could make it something like the bullets pass through the waves so you need to do more dodging? Just an idea :)
Thanks for playing! We designed the difficulty to ramp up naturally. There were ideas to have items that floated on the screen and I had a thought of potential bigger cannons to pierce waves but we couldn't fit that in with the scope. Upgrades (new abilities) and new enemies would definitely be something to think about upon revisiting the project :) Thanks for the feedback!
The difficulty ramps up quickly but it's fun. Nice job!
