Cool game! Love the idea of the behind-the-curtain life of the boss before the hero barges in. Combat was neat, and was fun being able to change the heros path based on the treasure placement~
I like the idea of a boss living a normal life before the hero comes along to fight them. I wish the tidying up of the boss' room would affect the fight somehow because currently it doesn't seem to serve much of a purpose other than story.
That was our intention, in theory when the hero has taken all the treasures and gets to a certain amount of life, he starts running to get out of the room. But I totally understand what you mean, unfortunately with the time left we couldn't improve the idea.
We will definitely work on this and other aspects in the full post-jam version.
