STAR LORD ARMADA is center around the gradual expansion and scaling of your interplanetary empire. Players manage population growth, strategically transferring inhabitants between planets to maximize their potential, while the universe itself expands in scope and complexity, embodying the concept of scaling up as the game progresses.

Ahhh, I spent so many hours playing Phage Wars (https://www.silvergames.com/en/phage-wars)

I love these types of games :) Was this your inspiration?

I didn't like the shake screen honestly, it was too much at some points and made precise-clicking harder. The AI could be a little more challenging too, it wasn't a problem finishing him off. And it would be nice to combine attacks from multiple cells into one enemy cell. Cool game nonetheless!

Hey, I did'nt know about "phage wars". The story is : one of the designers who participated to our brainstorming session on Figma has proposed this concept :


Due to budget cut, I took the idea and re-adapted it, by merging the "mass" idea with the population one, among other things . I was also inspired by all the fake trash mobile game ads where we can see heroes with number on top of their head, central mechanic to the fake design of those fake game, where the number act has a "all in one power value for everything". That's how the game was born. But maybe I saw a web/flash game like "phage wars" when I was younger, I dont remember, I cant tell...

Sorry for the motion sickness tho, now I also think it's a bit too much for a slow paced game like that, but I had to quickly add juice a all cost, and that's the solution I came with. Anyway thx for giving me some new ideas I can take :)

Failed maths at school. Barely failed maths at this one too. But kudos for submitting a math game for a game jam within 48 hours. Quite simple but the AI are shooting randomly in the first gameplay. Good job on this one.
