I liked the nanobots little sprites, the game was an interesting take on the theme and I think maybe this would work well as a puzzle game as well, with smaller levels but other challenges to face (white blood cells thinking you're the germ invasion as you're a foreign body for example). I've seen you intend to develop further in your comments, so good luck and I would love to see more when you're done!
Jea I was thinking the same way. "Speed should still be the driving force but add some more smaller levels with unique mechanics like the lung, the heart or the stomach."
Thank you for your feedback.
Great take on the theme, the scaling looks really nice here and adds a hectic, fun feel. Great job on finishing early and I hope you continue working on this!
Thank you for the encouraging words.
Wait a minute, who are you and why do we have the exact same game setting? Lmfaoooooooo
Gameplay is different no worries XD, I do like this simple maneuvering through a maze kind of gameplay. The scaling is pretty obvious and is simple fun to grow the swarm. Reminds me of other similar games where you have an army, and you try to take over other swarms of solider units to add to your swarm. Unfortunately I don't recall the name of the game I'm thinking of. Great job for your first game! Would love to see you further expand on it and fix the issues you mentioned :D
If you knew how similar our games would have been if I had some more time. I also wanted you to be able to hurt the host body by driving into the walls.
I thought this game was so creative! The scaling felt really cool, and navigating those pesky walls was a fun challenge without being too unforgiving. I wish the map had been a bit smaller, and that there was some concept at the end for how good your time is... also I experienced some pretty extreme lagging toward the end. But overall, I had a blast, great job with this!
Thank you very much for your feedback.
I already have some ideas to tackle the existing problems and may continue developing a full release due to the positive feedback.
I like the mechanics and idea! Good work in 48 hours.
Thanks. (:')
I love the swarm mechanics! The art style was also really good! Very fun mechanic and an interesting interpretation of the theme! Nice job, especially for only using 48 hours!
Thank your for the kind words. It was my first Game Jam ever.
Awesome game! I see that great minds do in fact think a like!
Nice game you have there, buddy. :)
i really enjoyed this at, one point it seemed like i had hundred of little nano bots.
I'm glad you enjoyed it.
Cute!
Thanks
The nanorobots are adorable. The map is a little too big. There is a noticeable lag after a while possibly due to memory leak.
The lag is due to a bug where the newly created nanobot glitch into each other causing them to gain a lot of speed, to glitch into more bots and to spin fast around the crosshair. The collision checks from all the glitched bots causes the lag. The map could be more compact I agree.
Thanks for the feedback.
