I really enjoyed the game, the SFX were used so effectively in this game. I really liked the art style as well. The only thing I would say is that the fish having some physics would be nice as sticking them to sides of other fish, without support blocks or hanging them feels a bit off. Really great game though I will be playing more!

I liked the nanobots little sprites, the game was an interesting take on the theme and I think maybe this would work well as a puzzle game as well, with smaller levels but other challenges to face (white blood cells thinking you're the germ invasion as you're a foreign body for example). I've seen you intend to develop further in your comments, so good luck and I would love to see more when you're done!
I think maybe with a change of controls all the issues with them that have been mentioned would be fixed, having left mouse to shoot, and the mouse movement to move the ship would mean that it's more intuitive. Also once you lose your gun you may as well just quit because you can't fight the enemies any more. I liked the SFX and the ideas in game though and with some polish I think it would do great, well done
Great game, different enemies are interesting and the game keeps you engaged, loved the stats screen. I didn't know I was collecting fish scales until I was told, I assumed maybe ammo. I would say that the gun sound gets a bit repetitive, so maybe add a randomness to the pitch? But overall really enjoyable well done.
I got zoomed off the map, and it's hard to find your way back unless you know the direction you went off in, so I would add an arrow or have invisible walls to help this. I really like using the mouse to resize, it was fluid and felt nice. Add some colour, points or maybe a timer to beat and it would be a fun challenge. A great start to something which could be extended into a fun game, well done.
I like the idea of the bath overflowing, which gives more space to play in. The ducks are so cute, I wish there were sound to give some more immersion. I think the controls could be made slightly easier so that you're not fighting to get the bits quite so much, or maybe something which is trying to take/kill your ducks to add a challenge. Keep adding to this I can see so much potential :)
As others have said, it's not clear even after reading your page instructions, though with some playing around I got an idea of the game. Would make the background another colour maybe and have the camera be either further back or separate from the block so the player can see more easily. Well done though, interesting idea!
Hi Lime, some of the things you've mentioned have been noted, specifically the speed issue. We are going to make changes once the game jam is up for sure based on players like you giving us a wonderful insight into what didn't work as well as we would have liked and what did.
This being our first GMTK game jam it's all been a great learning experience. The leaderboard is a great idea for future additions and potentially other game jams we may join. Thanks for taking the time to comment!
I know, so wild! The pixie is used to effectively divide the size of an enemy e.g size two worm into two size ones. Thank you for the feedback as we can use this to try and make this mechanic more intuitive or easier to understand with edited level design or tutorials. Loved you game also! Frog gang 🐸👑
