It's the classic Snake, so the player grows when eating food. You get shorter while "boosting" to go faster as well.

Awesome take on snake! Great fit with the theme and love the art style, music, vfx and general nice retro presentation.

Thank you! We put a lot of effort into how the game looked, the team was very in tune with the theme!

I don't know why I thought eating my own egg would protect it! I'm a terrible parent! Jokes aside, the addition of boosting to shorten your body really adds a new layer of strategy to this! I'm always tempted to boost myself to a reasonable size, but worried I won't be able to protect my eggs in time if I do.

I do wish the inputs were a tad more responsive though. I got used to it quickly enough, but I did feel like it took too long to register changing direction.

Hi, thank you for playing! I agree that the controls ended up feeling stiff. Personally feeling a bit bummed I couldn’t find a way to fix that in time… But anyway, I’m glad you enjoyed the gameplay regardless :)

That's a cool twist on a timeless classic! I had a lot of fun and the sfx and vfx are super! Well done :)
