This falls right into that cozy game territory! I really enjoyed building the tiles, though I was a bit confused about the point system at first. It got clearer as the game played out, but I did find myself just ignoring it in favor of wanting my make a pretty looking board (which is not technically a bad thing!)

A few recommendations for future polish:

  • Add a preview of the next title waiting in the queue. To make it easier for planning!
  • Pop out score indicators on tile placement, for a little dopamine hit!
  • Make some noise or pop the information out when a tile is earned.
  • Make it clearer which edges grant points on connection by color coding the tile edges. I kind of understood which ones could connect where, but it sometimes felt a little unclear and I spent more time moving the tile around to guess at which connection would work.

Good job!

There's some cute artwork here! However, the way assets suddenly shift is a bit too jarring.

Such a chill game! I could easily lose an afternoon on this

Thanks, I really appreciate the feedback! Yeah there was definitely still a bug left in there with the grid validation, but I'm glad you still got some enjoyment out of it!

Got it, yeah that makes a huge difference! I went back to try it again and got through! I could see this working as a mechanic in one of those climb the tower type games!

Simple and clear mechanics! This is a solid puzzle game, well done!

I couldn't pass the "double jump?" room. I'm not really sure what I needed to do.

I don't know why I thought eating my own egg would protect it! I'm a terrible parent! Jokes aside, the addition of boosting to shorten your body really adds a new layer of strategy to this! I'm always tempted to boost myself to a reasonable size, but worried I won't be able to protect my eggs in time if I do.

I do wish the inputs were a tad more responsive though. I got used to it quickly enough, but I did feel like it took too long to register changing direction.

I don't know why I audibly gasped when the little fox titled up and down the first little slope. It was just really cute to look at! I wasn't able to make the switching mechanic work though. Clicking the button or using the shortcut didn't seem to respond.

The combat was a bit difficult to get the hang of (I think due to lack of notable damage feedback?), but I really like the hammer mechanic itself!

Very nice! I keep going back for just one more try!

This was really creative!

Hey, these tracks are great! Just got a question about the download links. The Part 2 download appears to be the same files as the Part 1 link. I cant' seem to find the bonus vocal track in either one. Could you verify the download links are correct?
