How does your game fit the theme?
Our game "Wiggly Wizards" fits the "Built to Scale" theme by incorporating mechanics where the player’s character, a gelatinous cube, grows in size as they consume enemies. This scaling directly impacts gameplay, as the character's increased size alters movement, abilities, and strategy, making it both an advantage and a challenge. The concept of scaling is central to the player's progression and survival in the game, aligning with the theme in a meaningful and integral way.

Cool visuals and the gameplay was straight forward! It just gets repetitive after some time
Totally agreed. We weren't able to add all the mechanics to the core game loop we wanted before the jam ended, but we've got a lot of ideas for what we could do to finish this game out and turn it into something fun so it isn't so repetitive.
Really appreciate you giving it a shot!
Is reaching tier 6 supposed to take like half an hour or am I playing it wrong? (Cool game though)
Lol, we never were able to get around to balancing that part. The plan was to have you break through the current level and go down to lower one with stronger enemies.
All cubes should be gelatinous. Inventive way to fit the theme. Great work!
Thank you so much for trying it out!
I had a lot of fun working on this project. Every journey starts with one step and we did a weekend marathon haha c:
As a D&D fan, i enjoy being a gelatinous cube and wiggling my way through dungeons. And I also very much enjoy being a wizard!
This game is awesome. But I also did the C++ on it, so I'm biased.
This is a low value comment. :)
