The character controller is loosely based on a version of the "Ultimate 2D Controller" by Tarodev that I ported to Godot. This is the original Git repo:

Really clever puzzles, especially some of those last few. The animation of the small guy getting smashed is funny
Thank you! So you either had an unfortunate encounter with a box ...
or you found it.
Good game, you deserve more ratings.
Thanks for the kind words! Means a lot, especially coming from a fellow brick enthusiast.
Great game. I like that size influence more than one thing. I think a player is too slow, which makes repeating level, after you do something wrong painful and boring.
You're right, my original thought was to not make the player too fast to avoid scenarios where it was uncertain if you failed because you went with the wrong approach or if you just weren't fast enough but I we didn't end up adding puzzles where that could've even been the case so I probably could've increased move speed by another 40-70% or so without it feeling inappropriate.
I like the concept. It would be fun to explore this with more snappy controls for platforming and a less floaty jump.
See, I don't mind spending hours on a character controller but putting in numbers that actually make it feel ok to use is a cut above my non-existent paygrade, sorry.
I worry my last response came of as aggressive when it wasn't meant to. I was just trying to poke fun at how I always fuck up movement stats, sorry.
Thank
