This has so much potential! I'd love to see some higher fish spawn rates and maybe some shop music. Nice work!

Thank you for your feedback!
Shop music is one of the first thing in the "didn't have time, will add later" list, as well as adjusting the numbers for fish spawns and behaviour.

Could use some proofreading, but the art is excellent and the gameplay is pretty fun! Great job!

Thank you!! Yeah, the text was written quite rapidly and close to the deadline, if we had more time I would have included more fish puns for one, as to get people hooked. But unfortunately making a game and also coming up with some funny or clever texts was just to much to tackle.

Glad you liked the game!

It's giving me the feeling of nostalgia lol, the fishing mechanic seems familiar haha! this was so fun!

We looked up to many games while developing, but the fishing mini-game comes straight from Stardew Valley! So maybe that's why it feels familiar!

Our initial plan was to include different ships with different fishing mechanics used in games, as well as original ones. To make the ultimate Fishing Mini-Game, a sort of collection of various fishing mechanics.  Maybe we will make it happen further down the road, we will sea

But thank you for playing! I'm glad you enjoyed it!

Really cool concept with having the player both trying to catch fish and avoid being caught himself! The theme definitely came across well. The core concept of this game is super solid, but as far as game-feel goes, I think the player could have more of an indicator (maybe auditory, as well as visual) to telegraph when a big fish is about to attack. I want to stay at the bubbles as long as I can, but kept staying too long, and it took awhile for small fish to spawn for me to catch. Overall this game was very fun! Great job!

Thank you for playing!

We wanted to make giant fish eating the player as cinematic as possible, but unfortunatly didn't have too much time for that. Making the sound react to it's approach is a great idea we will look into in the future.

The best way currently to catch fish is to swim around and search for it (because of the way AI and fish spawn works), or even better get eaten and look for fish inside the giant fish. Right now it's very common for players to play safe or even avoid giant fish entirely. In the future we will look for ways to provide more information to the player without breaking the element of surprise.
Thank you again for your feedback! Glad you liked the game!
