I'm not very good at first person platformers so I fell off a lot, but I got to the top in the end! I love the music.
Thank you for taking the time to check it out, and congrats on reaching the top!
I picked up the book and then scaled the trees. I didn't need the mouse wheel since moving the mouse up and down made the scaling work, however the trees are too far apart to use as actual platforms... Either your platforms are too far apart or the jump height needs adjustment...
Featured in tomorrows stream!!
Thank you for taking the time to check it out and leaving feedback! I went back and forth between using the mouse wheel or the mouse X,Y movement to scale and realized from your message that I forgot to update the text so I do apologize for the confusion- as for the jump length, it's fine as is. I should have been more transparent with the player, but for a lot of jumps you are supposed to scale the platform while you're on them to reach higher lengths and scale other platforms (down) to make the jumps doable. Once again, thank you for commenting and checking it out!
I really liked the music and the vibe of this game. Unfortunately, I couldn't figure out how to use the left mouse button and wheel to scale things. Great job!
Thank you for your feedback! Did you pick up the book at the beginning? It's required for the scale mechanic to work
I did. Does it just get used automatically, or do you have to equip it?
It will activate automatically when you pick it up. I should have made it clearer as to what can be scaled, thanks again!
