How does your game fit the theme?
You're constantly trying to build a scale, in order to deal damage. While building up the scale in the dynamic background music.

Amazing title artwork and music! The gameplay was confusing at first but I think I managed to understand it a couple rounds in. It's a bit hard to tell when you, or the opponent, are being damaged though. I think I ran into a glitch on my first round as well, where I couldn't play any card at all (quitting the game, and reopening it fixed it though).
I liked this one. Loved the way you integrated the background music with the gameplay!
Realy creative use of the theme I never thought THAT scale! Also the artstyle is realy good. I like that it gives hints which card I currently can play. I would like instead of building scales (I get it that was the theme :D) you build melodies and the more "complete" the meldoy is the more damage you do.
Also It need some element to reduce the RNG a bit.
This is a cool idea but it's just a bit too reliant on RNG for my taste. There's not a lot you can do to make sure you can continue the scale if you don't get the right cards. But the idea of continuing the scale is really cool. Especially with the dynamic music. Makes it feel like a climactic card duel between musicians. I really wish I could've gotten more than 3 cards in a row just to hear the music.
Overall, cool game!
I like it, it's just too luck based for me. Normally with card games you can count, but that doesn't really work here. Plus because I and my opponent knew exactly what cards the other had nobody ever got to play and it came down to whoever had the more damage dealing cards. I think what would be really cool is if you had more than twenty different scales to choose from and more than 10 cards so you could make the largest strings to deal more damage instead of hoping you don't get another D if you already have two D's. Obviously making music in 20 different scales sounds like quite a task, I'm pretty sure you can just write your music in 1 to 7 instead of in a particular scale and just create the music in engine. Now make a different track for music with a 1 to 8 scale and you've got tons of possibilities. You would play against that one guy who starts using the Italian enigmatic scale. Maybe even include the chromatic scale, as it would be really satisfying I think.
Definitely a cool game though. Approved.
