It is very hard to move even a little bit controllably, I think the controls should be a bit easier to get used to and with harder level design

Developer

Yes, the controls are a bit odd. I struggled with getting some of the things right and so some others went wrong. But I'll try to improve upon it once that jam is over.

I do like these kinds of rage games. The addition of an extra arm might be a bit of a help here (not sure tho). I do think controls could be a bit better. Maybe if the arms had a bit of a grip (just a very small amount). Right now sometimes you even push yourself forward by just having the arm behind you because of some weird physics. +the background art assets look great but it could look crisper I think if you set the filtering to Point Filter on the sprites, it would look better because its pixel art. Great game tho :) Hope you'll continue it :)

Thank you the feedback!

I struggled with getting the physics working (spent the first 3 days prioritizing on that in fact) so I had to overlook some problems. I see that there are a few notable bugs and inconsistencies with the arms.

About the pixel art, I'm getting a few good suggestions like yours, and will surely implement them after the jam is over.

I'm not sure if I can update the game before the jam finishes, if I'm right doing that may lead to disqualification?

I loved this game. The movement really pushed me to want to complete it, but I just couldn’t do it.

The theme is indeed present, but the artwork deserves the credit.

Developer

Oh yeah, it took me quite some effort to complete it too :D

The artwork does deserve a lot of credit (It's not mine, its a free asset pack- kudos to the creator)

Infuriating in the BEST way possible!

Developer

Haha totally :)

Glad you liked it

F*ck that robot, great use of the theme. A little bit of advice: Next time you use pixel art remember to turn off anti aliasing!

Developer

oh I see. Is that to make the pixel-art look better?

Submitted(+1)

Yes it stops it from looking blurry.

Developer

Alrighty! I'll keep that in mind.

Definitely nailed the "Getting Over It" vibes :)

Developer

That's what I was going for ;)

The artwork looks really good in this game! This game requires a bit of skill!

Developer

I'm surprised about the artwork comments, because that was one of the parts I rushed over. But thanks!

And yeah, the game does require a bit of practice and patience :D
