How does your game fit the theme?
In this game you control a laser and you have to scale the enemies (either make them bigger or smaller) to a certain size. You can select between Shrink or Grow mode, depending on the shape.

Fun concept! The visuals are nice and impactful, I think the simple style fits this game well.

The laser controls could do with a little bit of fine-tuning to make the movement feel more polished, but overall it’s a really neat execution of the idea!

Hello. Thank you for your comment and for the suggestion to the movement of the laser!

I wish I could have added some moving elements to the screen as well, to maybe make the scene a bit more dynamic. But definitely still keep the style more simple, to make sure everything is clear.

And yes, I agree, the movement could have used more fine-tuning! With a laser probably :) Initially I wanted the laser to reflect off of the walls,  and this would sort of balance out the limited movement, but I couldn't get it to work quite how I wanted it to, so I had to scrap that idea. But I still kept the initial concept.

Thank you again for playing!

A fun, quick time :) I'm biased, though. Astroids is an all time favorite

And yes, Asteroids is very fun!

Fun concept! Nice music. This could use some polish, but the toggling between growth and shrinking is a clever mechanic, and it's satisfying to destroy the objects. I don't love the lazer movement; it makes me feel like I'm constricted. Maybe it would be better if it moved instead of rotated? Just a thought. Great work!

Thank you for the comment and for the suggestions! I will certainly keep them in mind! It always helps when I get feedback, so I always appreciate it.

The music was done by HoliznaCC0, so you can check out their music if you like the style.

Yes, I agree, the way the game is right now I should have made it so the laser can move to the left and right (make it more like controlling a ship in a SHMUP game). Initially I wanted the laser to reflect and bounce off of the walls, to make up for the constricted movement. Unfortunately, I couldn't get this concept to work quite how I wanted it to work, so I had to scrap that idea. But, I still kept the initial way the laser moved...

Thank you again for playing and for the suggestions!
