Very interesting concept and I liked the story you added. I think it can add to the overall gameplay experience when you are given a reason on why you need to do something, and the story about the mice shrinking items for their own den made you even more invested in your actions. Also, I think that the text you added once you grabbed an item was quite funny. And the fact that this text changed depending on what that item was is also a very nice addition.

One potential thing I would work on in the future: I would probably make the dryer that shrinks the items, as well as the den where you need to deliver these items, a bit more visible (maybe make them glow or add some arrows pointing towards them), especially the first few times you grab something.

The graphics were good and they suited the game, and the music was also well-suited for the experience. Bonus points for adding a button for mouse squeaks :)

Great job!

probably one of my favourites of the games i've played from this jam. it hits all the notes i love from something like katamari but with a completely different and unique concept. i'd love to see this one expanded!

So that explains what happened to my Sofa! 😅

Very cute, timer was a bit too aggressive but it was fun!

Got some glitches, but I really love the concept. The little mouse voice overs were very cute. Maybe I'm missing something but I felt like I didn't have enough time. The closest I got to beating the level was about half way. I'd love to see this fleshed out more, I really like the concept. Maybe where the humans start setting traps? Great job!

that timer does not mess around. Took a bit to figure out what to do, but gladly everything is explained in settings. nice game

we're glad you enjoyed it! Yeah, game jams don't give a lot of time to polish that first time user experience x) something we'll definitely be looking at in the future :)

Took me a bit to figure out how to play, but it was very fun once I did! Very stressful at times though XD

Developer(+1)

the introduction/tutorialization could definitely be improved, for sure x) thank you for your feedback!

On my playthrough I had trouble knowing if my actions were taken into account on not, sometimes it felt like the dryer gave me something back but I couldn't find it, or I'd press E next to it with an object and it would empty my "hands" but not turn on the dryer.

I'm also unsure if there's something I'm supposed to do during drying time to keep me engaged and improve my score?

I like the theme and the idea of shrinking things with the dryer though, and the environment is nice, congratulations! :)

Developer(+1)

yeah, there's some wonkiness with the dryer interaction, and the shrunken items can be hard to see once they pop out. There was an issue with physics objects just getting deleted when you try putting them in the dryer, so we turned that off, but some slipped through I'm sure.

Thank you so much for the feedback! :)

Satisfying experience for sure

Hello there! Thanks for playing the game. We're glad you enjoyed it and hopefully, with future polish and balancing, it can be even more enjoyable.

How I love this ambience and expeirence! I wish to invite my friend here like animal crossing lol. Only if the art can be polished a little better but time is really limited

Developer(+1)

Thank you for playing! Yeah, we had to really rush to get everything in on time. Hopefully, we can polish it to make the game even better.

A very cute and chill game! The SFX for when the mouse is talking are adorable and goofy, I love it. Everything felt like it played fine. Found a funny little thing where the player speeds up if you jump and hit an edge just right, causing the mouse to launch forward.

I noticed what seems to be a bug: sometimes some of the billboards appear to just turn green when coming out of the dryer, while others show up right. I'm not sure what causes it, and I didn't see any logs for to search for a potential "texture not found." When they're in the hidey-hole, things appear fine - it's just (sometimes) when they spawn out of the dryer.

we're glad you liked it! The green texture is the same thing that's highlighting the furniture green/yellow/red when you get close, but it doesn't always work right. Definitely something we plan to polish up. Thanks for your review!

That was fun! The concept is very charming, and the gameplay is engaging. It's especially satisfying to perform extra tasks while the dryer is running.

The dinging sound effects are a bit loud; they peak the audio above +0.0 dB.

All-in-all, great work!

we appreciate the feedback! Also, spatulae was great and extremely fun :)

A really cute game, I was all for a 2d hand drawn adventure when I saw the intro, only to be surprised by a pretty sweet looking 3d game. Gameplay loop is simple and pretty cool once you figure it out. And the music is lovely. Well done!

Would love it if you could check out our game too!

I love this idea so much, makes me think of making secret bunkes as a kid! Would love to see this expanded upon

Developer

We're glad you like our game! The team has already agreed that additional work is needed to really bring out the potential this game has. If we're lucky, we might get a chance to do an expansion in the future, but that is yet to be decided.
