Cool game! Love the art and music! Was a bit annoying that jumping took forever - would be good if jump height was proportional to how long you hold the jump button.
Thanks! The jump physics are one of my least favorite things, spent a while trying to fix them and I still wasn’t able to, I’ll fix them if I make a full version :)

I like the idea and it was pretty fun, I also liked the shop where you can get upgrades between rounds! I will say the BGM was very loud and not having a way to turn it down was a bit sad. Also, unless I missed it there didn't seem to be a way to deal with the bad guys and I got stuck a couple of times because I was too small to leave the area. Solid entry!

the gameplay loop is very nice but it is a bit long for a jam game imo.
also maybe zoom out the camera a bit!

Simple game, but pretty nice for a first game jam! I feel like the game is way to long for a game jam though, maybe try not to make your game last for more than 15 minutes at first. I like the smoke effects!
Thanks for the feedback! When making the game, I made it like how I'd make normal game instead of for a game jam, so it unfortunately takes much longer than it should, something I'll keep in mind in my next jam.
