How does your game fit the theme?
The rocket gets smaller or bigger based on the amount of fuel, being bigger sets you up for a longer ride but harder to control, being smaller allows you to travel easier.

I played for long enough that I developed a bit of a strategy (high score 1558), and its really fun! But I'm not sure if my strategy was what was intended, because I barely used the blue asteroids. I started by getting a lot of speed, and then just dodging the big asteroids. If that wasn't intended, I would do things like add different types of asteroids and upgrades and other things that would add more replay ability.
Also, did you make this with raw OpenGL? Because its very impressive if you did.
Overall, amazing game!

thanks for playing :) ! I think any strategy is a good strategy as long as you get farther, but I like your ideas so I might try to add those features. Yes, I made the game with raw OpenGL, that was my main challenge for this game jam.

Simple yet pleasant! I was confused at first by the refueling gimmick and didn’t engage with it, so I didn’t see that the rocket grew at first.

Feels like the optimal way to play is to stay as small as possible and slowly drift, that’s kind of relaxing actually.

The rocket skids, which makes a really difficult game, which makes you want to take and play the game. Very cool :)

I had fun with it, I like how there is a sort of balancing act, you get a higher score by moving further so you are incentivized to accelerate but that makes it hard to carefully move around to stay alive, and you have an incentive to keep your fuel reserve low so your ship is smaller and can dodge asteroids. but obviously you want fuel to stay alive. It can be a bit hard to control unless you move very slowly and precisely but that seems like the intention

thank you very much!
