super cute!

fun game! although i thought that the strategy of only shopping for the things on your card was a bit too cumbersome, and i really enjoyed just running down the isles and buying everything instead

Very unique concept! I feel like a lot more strategy could be added to the mining part, with a more limited and hand crafted mine.

i cant believe my leader commissioned a simulator for a million units, and THIS one is better???

this was such a unique idea! i loved how i could drag around my important files folder to evade the viruses. it reminds me of games that are played in the file explorer and other games that take advantage of windows os. great job!

fun game! although i didnt play for 15 minutes, and this is something that you should learn from in your future game jams, since its something i learned from too. people are only really willing to play a jam game for 2-5 minutes, so you should make the playtime short. also, the 60 second cooldown on the turrets felt really long too. but i really liked the art and the little robot!

easily the best game ive played, and probably the best of this jam! also, the longest of one of these games ive played, which is really impressive because making a jam game engaging is hard. normally i would comment a few things i would improve on, but i didnt think of anything for this game. awesome job!

ive never thought of doing a clicker game like this! this adds a whole new spin to the genre, and it works great! this was one of the most polished games ive seen (love the art style too!) but i would just add two things: visual indicator of buttons health and unique enemy types

unique idea! it couldve been more fun though if the notes werent all the same amount of time apart. also, i would consider adding some invincibility frames to make dying a bit less frustrating

i loved the simple fighting mechanics, but health would have given the game a lot more depth.
i got to the level with the purple shrine but i couldn't figure out what to do there?
instructions at that level (and instructions for controls at the start) would've been useful

great game!

such a funny concept! i had tons of fun playing through it. although the reason i died is because you can only extract from in front of the truck, otherwise i wouldve gotten out quicker. the green screen explosion was funny tho.  with more upgrades it could be super duper fun

the art style was amazing! but i think there couldve been a lot of potential in having different recipes using different kitchen equipment rather than making the same thing

gave me doki doki vibes, especially when i thought she was about to stab me! really fun!

i like how you can continue placing attackers even during the day! although i think that the square shouldn't be able to heal, since you can just wait in between night cycles for it to get max hp.

fun game, but i think that it was wayyyyy to easy in the beginning. it would be more fun if the difficulty ramped up much quicker.

the news reporter was so funny! prob the best tutorial ive ever seen. i wasnt able to get far, only about 8000 coolness level. but im just curious, did the pirates have some really cool upgrade that let them go through the storm without taking damage? because i dont think theyre cooler than me so i think i should have it.

i loved the graphics and the music! but i dont think i ran into any sharks (?)

fun game! i liked how each input had its own distinctive sound, which helped me know which button to press

i liked how it felt like a cross between doom and minecraft. although i think the block building system could be expanding on, because i didnt feel like i got much value from building defenses. i spent all of my time in the shop menu, so i think that the timer shouldnt be paused when youre in that.  i really enjoyed the game though!

this was so much fun! gave me tons of overcooked vibes, and made me realize how much more fun this would be if it was multiplayer (one person driving the truck, one preparing sandwiches, maybe even one accepting orders) *extreme* potential there. the dialogue lines were hilarious, thank you so much for voicing those. also, the fact that you have to have your window facing your customer made it a bit harder, as i had to do a lot of three point turns. there could be a lot of potential in having the ability to throw out of each window, but also being able to throw it a lot further. so you could deliver orders without having to go right up to them.

I loved the music, it reminded me of Stardew Valley. I think the balancing was a bit off because I never had a lot of potatoes at once (although I'm not very good at tower defense, so that could just be me) But I thought it was very fun and fit the theme great!

super silly and really fun! i enjoyed it!

super atmospheric! and really spooky!

I love the 2.5D graphics! The gameplay reminds me of Doom, and its lots of fun! My only problem is that the enemy pathfinding is a little shaky, and I had to sometimes go looking for the zombies rather than having them come to me.

Sorry, but I wasn't able to figure out how to properly scale the objects. It didn't feel like the scroll wheel was working. Good concept though!

The aesthetic is super cute and funny! This is one of the few games that I've seen that *really* fits the theme. I managed to get to the end, and all of the puzzles were great and the progression curve was on spot. My only complaint is that the jumping doesn't feel too smooth.

Unfortunately, nothing but the camera rendered for me and everything was laggy. Any fix for this?

I'm glad you enjoyed! The UI is done with various C++ libraries that can fiddle with Windows consoles.

I'm sorry it didn't work out for you. Did you make sure to scale the console window up so that the frame fits inside?

Definitely a little buggy, but the concept is great! It would feel a lot better if the slime moved faster at larger scales. It also feels very underwhelming that at a massive size, I die to the tiny pink rectangle.

I wasn't able to find the solution, but it was fun trying. One thing I would change is the snappy movement, since its a little jarring and makes it hard to control. I got to the point where I electrocuted the alien, and I thought that was meant to be the big a-ha! moment and the end of the game, but it just grew right back and I was cornered. So some more clues or directions would be nice.

Definitely buggy and a little crappy! But I've done a lot of work with Scratch in the past, and its pretty good for 48 hours! But I had fun!

Got a score of 2660! I really like the initial learning curve, and I developed a strategy quickly. Power is important to upgrade, and getting blue asteroids should be prioritized. At first I was confused about not being able to replenish my health, but after my first run I realized that was a really good design choice. Normally I think of a ton of things that I would improve, but this game is pretty perfect, especially for 48 hours! The only thing I would add is some sort of indicator that you can't move without fuel or shoot without power. For example, the bars could flash when you try to do their respective actions and don't have enough fuel or power.

I played for long enough that I developed a bit of a strategy (high score 1558), and its really fun! But I'm not sure if my strategy was what was intended, because I barely used the blue asteroids. I started by getting a lot of speed, and then just dodging the big asteroids. If that wasn't intended, I would do things like add different types of asteroids and upgrades and other things that would add more replay ability.
Also, did you make this with raw OpenGL? Because its very impressive if you did.
Overall, amazing game!

I was able to edit the robot parts in the beginning, but couldn't figure out how to play from there. If you update your game page with instructions, please lmk so I can try again!

I loved the concept, and it was very fun playing the game! A few things that I would change:

  • I really like how the camera spins around the tree, but having it at a set distance would also be nice. Because sometimes it zooms really close in if my character is being obscured by a leaf.
  • Checkpoints
  • A way to view controls and the animal's strengths without restarting the game

This was super fun. I love Minesweeper, so this was great for me to play. I enjoyed simply blowing up the doors rather than flagging them.

The heartbeat is really scary, but a jumpscare would've gone a long way when the monster actually catches you.

This was super fun to play! I couldn't beat the level with the laser though, it went to fast for me.
