How does your game fit the theme?
In our game, the theme of "scale" is explored through an adventure where players must retrieve stolen stars from a giant monster. As the story progresses, it's revealed that the monster’s true motive is to light up the deep sea for its children, who find it too dark. Physically, the monster looks big and powerful, but she is caring and warm inside. When we look beyond the surface of a situation and consider the deeper, underlying motivations, we might see more meaningful and impactful perspectives on a larger scale.

The art is beautiful and really adorable. So was the story! That intro animation was one of the best things I’ve seen this jam, I just loved it. It felt very storybook. (For some reason it reminded me of the storybook parts in Mario Galaxy.)

I didn’t really get a lot out of the gameplay though. I was just kind of moving through a maze, and I kept dying because the enemies were packed really tight. Then when I got to the stars, I couldn’t do anything! I hoped there would be RPG battles based on the description, or at least some more involved navigation.

Great job. I wish I could’ve seen the ending, the intro was gorgeous!

Really cute art and animation, can keep up with the UI a little bit more.

My suggestions would be; add the tutorial in the game, make the sound settings work (or just remove it) and just don't zoom in too much while player doesn't move.

Keep up with your work!

Absolutely beautifully drawn and animated! The opening cinematic is gorgeous and really sweet. I love all the little critters! I sadly couldn't get through the first level so I couldn't see much of it. But what I did see was lovely. Good job!

LOVE the artwork. too bad the game doesn't load unless downloaded.  I really like how you used the game jam theme

The artwork is gorgeous and I kind of like the story as well, but sadly between the hitboxes of the ennemies forcing me to take damage to progress, the options menu that doesn't change anything (though I admit I already had the same issue in my last year's game)  and the fact that I couldn't collect the star even after spamming my keyboard/mouse... twice, the game requires to be polished after the jam ends in my opinion... Still, I really LOVE the art and it looked promessing overall so nice job anyway!

The game style is so cute!!

This is absolutely adorable story and style is wonderfull.
But I wasn't able to pickup a star :(
Is it me who didn't understand something, or it's just unfinished?
