I didn't realize that i was moving first(adding an effect would help with that and if the background moves as well). also meters and space ships would pop in and out of existence a lot.

The graphics are well-executed, with detailed sprites and a pleasing color palette. The background could benefit from parallax scrolling to enhance the sense of depth and motion. Adding sound effects and visual feedback, such as camera shake or particle effects, would enhance the player experience. Implementing a hull status indicator would provide players with valuable information about the enemy and their ship's health.

The game's foundation is promising, with its unique blend of space exploration and combat. I would love to feel more in control of the ship. Overall good job and keep up the good work.

Easy to understand, good that there was a "how to play" anyways. I wish there was some music or sound effects, would have added a lot. Also I found it disorientating that the background didn't move, made it hard to know where you are going sometimes. Good luck in your further game development!
