Cool looking game!

Very interesting concept!

I recommmend a faster camera, and maybe a bit of UI that shows how close you are to losing (I still don't actually know how I lost, I thought my city was pretty balanced).

Overall a cool idea, well done!

Thanks for the feedback!

If your economy on either side drops into negatves, you lose - perhaps a different system would be better, such as losing buildings if you are unable to pay their upkeep, but these were systems i was unable to implement in the time constraint. As for camera speed - it is definitely worth tweaking. I think i made it so that pressing either shift key increases the camera speed for the duration that it is held down -  however, i may or may not  have forgotten to mention this in the controls (It is still fairly slow even with the shift key being pressed). You can also drag the camera around with either mouse button, which is also slow unless you are considerably zoomed out. Your recommendations are definitely things worth changing after the jam has concluded, and worth taking into consideration for future jams, i hope however, that i have added some clarity on why the game gave you a "Game Over" screen. It's pretty annoying losing and having no idea why you lost.

Thank you once again for the feedback, it goes a long way!

A nice game, the idea is brilliant as you have to plan the city according to the scale and ensure it doesn’t weigh too much on one side.
