I see you went with an interpretation similar to mine. I liked the artstyle and vibes, however I would:

  • Decrease enemy spawning, at the moment it's pretty hard to stay alive
  • Make all guns autoshoot if you hold down the mouse button (I made the same mistake)
  • Make the dice smaller and possibly at the top of the screen, so that you can still see what's going on.

I have found many games with this idea. I have criticism of this game.

1. It is very annoying when the bones take up most of the screen and nothing is visible.

2. The camera shakes too much, which is also very annoying.

3. You can often see opponents appearing out of nowhere. it doesn't look good

4. And also because of the bug with the rotation of the weapon, the visual feeling of the game becomes worse (Shown in the video below)

I think if this game was more polished it would be a good example of that idea.

This is great! I love the arcade feel and how juicy the combat is - makes playing very satisfying. Good job man!

A lot of effort was clearly put into the game juice, which the game does very well. The bigger guns feel really satisfying. The gameplay loop itself is very simple as well, with little variation. More variety in the enemy types would help a lot. For instance, you could have a long range enemy that sticks behind. Overall this is a great first step to creating a cool arcade like game.
