That is an oversight, though ../ does work.

Great game! Enjoyed how multitasking was brought in as well!

The movement took a while to get the hang of, but once I did I really enjoyed the game!

It seems like a pretty complex game, but the instructions are very unclear and the UI is not explained at all, to the point where the game is almost unplayable because I can't figure out how to play it.

Game kept crashing ):

One of the better tower climbing games, the switching directions felt a bit strange but I like that it gave a time at the end was cool. Mine was 1:37.

Controls are interesting, the scrolling seems a bit bugged, and the jump is way too short. Also the game crashed many times.

I really like the cute art style, the minigames weren't explained very well, but if future playthroughs it was pretty interesting, and its cool that it has a highscore system so you can keep playing.

Cool platformer, but the game doesn't seem to tell you what the two buttons are, I had to press every button to figure out it was A and L.

Its an interesting idea, I actually tried a similar type of game for a previous jam. I like the core gameplay loop, however it doesn't have much progression, which discourages the player from really caring.

An interesting puzzle game, but attacks didn't really have much feedback to them, and when you get seen you die a bit too quickly.

Looks really good, I pretty much agree with Explosive Chair. I also really like how consistent the art style of the game is.

This is really good. The pixel shader is a little annoying, because it makes the image not look like it is rendered pixelated, but that the image was blurred then downscaled. Also the jump is really floaty, and I wished I could see my health, or have some way to recover health. The guns are pretty good though, and I like how it encourages you to always be moving.

Edit: also is that name a daikatana reference?

Right click the folder with the game, then click add to archive. Then upload the archive.

Cool game, the weapon models are pretty good, especially if they are made during the time. The gameplay loop is pretty good, I would recommend adding some verticality to the arena and increasing the speed.

Please put these files in a zip so people don't need to download each individual asset

Cool idea, the camera is awful though. Also I wish the movement was relative to where the camera was, IE: W moves forward.

Cool idea, I really like this concept.

The idea is neat and the gameplay is alright, but the art style is inconsistent. It would be better if you just picked one style of assets, instead of switching between kenny assets and white squares.

The gameplay is pretty repetitive, but the visuals are ok. They are a little inconsistent though, between the walls, the enemies, and the player hand, they all use different art styles. Also there were print messages and errors showing up mid game.

I don't really get how it fits the theme, and the platforming is a little tedious. I would recommend increasing the jump height, movement speed, and gravity. Also adding more obstacles to the game. I do really like the art style though!

A lot of effort was clearly put into the game juice, which the game does very well. The bigger guns feel really satisfying. The gameplay loop itself is very simple as well, with little variation. More variety in the enemy types would help a lot. For instance, you could have a long range enemy that sticks behind. Overall this is a great first step to creating a cool arcade like game.

Visuals are well done, but gameplay is very repetitive. You really just spam the same attack over and over, making it hard to care about the rules changes, so you kind of just hope for the best.

Great Visuals, gameplay is a little easy, it is really difficult to actually fail, lowering the incentive to actually follow the beat. Also, the music is good, but it doesn't have a clear enough beat for a rhythm game.

Thanks!

Thanks! I only had 3 hours to make it for many reasons. But I will be updating it later
