Great idea! I like how you incorporated RNG but made it a strategic choice by letting you assign who uses which die.
I won! I feel like the bard and the archer weren't worth it. I always gave them the lowest rolls. Priest and Knight clutched it.
Nice job! So far my favorite strat is to go in the order of knight->bard->priest->archer in descending strength. Before that I always focused knight and priest and won a little less than half the time.
Easily the game that made me think the most this game jam, well done! One thing I might suggest is making it clearer how to assign dice to specific units; I actually managed to go several rounds without assigning any dice before figuring out why all my units sucked so much lol.
Thank you! I appreciate the feedback, it definitely needs to be more clear. You also point out a major bug I hadn't noticed, you're not supposed to be able to roll again without assigning the dice. Thanks!
Nice job! I liked your game concept and design. I liked how you incorporated rolling the dice
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it!
Unfortunately, music and art style, and huge tutorial is very repulsive.
I appreciate the feedback. As a solo programmer with limited time to work on this, I was more interested in a unique dice gameplay loop than on aesthetics, so a lot of that was thrown in without cohesion. Tutorial and UI overhaul is already being planned for after the Jam ends.
I understand you, but why you don`t use some assets? it's not shameful
