Cool game! Great job. But it's very difficult

You have an option menu with the volume settings. This already makes it better than a lot of entries ahah. Anyway i see what you where trying to do and it does sound like an interesting idea. This is a good starting point i'd say. Also I think i found a bug (not sure?) when i picked up the dice on the platforms, sometime all the platform would disappear and the game restart. The character sprite is really nice, I like it!

Developer

I think the bug was  that you might’ve jumped right as you got on the platform, and then when it was off-screen, it disappeared. I will do what I can in a possible post-jam version. Thanks for the feedback!

Game looks nice but you should rework the controling cause the jump is not always working and feels a little bit unresponsive

Developer

Thanks for the feedback. I can understand the jump problem. I haven’t experienced it not jumping, but I do know that it’s not the best system. I will do whatever I can in a possible post-jam version.

nice idea, and very nice graphics. I liked how you used the dice mechanics but I would like to have some dillemas in game, like having to choose between risking and tking more score, or taking a safe path with more rerolls. Also, really nice music.

Those are good ideas, and if I ever make a post-jam version, I will be sure to try to add what I can! Thanks for the feedback! Also, the music was made by a good friend of mine, and I’ll be sure to let him know people like it!

The random generation makes the game a bit frustrating, I guess the dice mechanics could have been implemented in more clever way.

Developer

I would love to expand on this game eventually, and maybe make a more polished, post-jam version. If you could, please let me know what I could do to make your experience better? Also, what exactly made the generation frustrating? Thanks in advance!

On the platforming side, the height of the jumps could be greater, it is hard to just reach the next platform and the jump feels a bit floaty.
On the random generation side, sometimes you start the game with one jump and there is no dice on the first platform so you automatically loose.
I would enjoy to see a post jam version, keep up the good work ^^
